SPECIAL NOTICE!

October 16, 7:00pm (3rd Tuesday) - S.W.A.T.H. club meeting at the Mid-Columbia library in Kennewick.

SEPTEMBER MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

The meeting was brought to order by Gene Mace. Kim Leverett read the treasurer's report and the minutes were read by Nancy Mace. Raffle proceeds brought in $26.00. Gene thanked Lyle Thomas for the successful club mini hunt and barbeque. He then explained the prize token clue: "many boats are coming and going nearby". There is a one-dollar entry fee to participate. Other business included nominations for officers will begin next month, and voting to be in December. New business: Kim will try to reserve the fire department building for the club Christmas party. Possible dates considered are December 1st or 8th. There is a $10 limit on gifts and please, no candy. We are looking forward to a certain club member to display her talented singing voice. No Federation news. Jerry Lynn found over 700 coins, and Dan Autrey found over 500. There were 17 members present. Kerry Leverett donated 2 pies to be raffled and Chris Hulse donated raffle tickets for the coin show. Discussion was held for possible club fundraisers. Kim offered a metal detector to be raffled off for $1 per ticket or 6 for $5. A motion was passed to raffle the detector with a minimum of $200 in ticket sales. The silver rounds were won by Lyle Thomas and Bill Baker. Joanne Thomas and Kerry Leverett won the displays. Nancy Thomas and Alice Loderhose won pies and Alice and Kim Leverett won raffle tickets.
