FEBRUARY MEETING HIGHLIGHTS
The meeting was called to order. Joanne welcomed visitors Henry & Donna Macatas. It was
announced that Jerry Lynn will take over being treasurer. Jerry Lynn gave the treasures report.
Deposit $198.00, spent $75.00 silver, balance $148.90.
Dick and Alice asked that we remember to bring in our pull-tabs. Dick and Alice drive twice a
year
to
for all your hard work.
Remember dues are due by the end of March. If you do not pay your dues by March 31st you will
be dropped from the membership list. We discussed changes to the By-Laws. We will discuss the
By-Laws again at the March meeting.
Hunt News: The hunt is progressing well. We have purchased some of the silver for the hunt,
and still have some to get. We have received four entries back already and have had several
inquiries regarding our hunt. We have ordered two Garrett Prize packages and two detectors. We
will be purchasing 2 large prize packages and 2 detectors from Whites Electronics. We have received
donations
from individuals also. One from
camping space as soon as possible. They will fill up fast. Campsites are $10.00 nightly for dry
camp or pull through. $18 nightly for electric & water hookups. Remember the hunt is May 8-10 so
reserve
that weekend for the SWATH hunt at
Lois Powell won the silver round and Dennis Armstrong got 2nd. Joanne Thomas won the 50/50.
