The hunt will be Father's Day weekend. PLEASE NOTE: We will not be meeting at Denney's on June 13th. Instead we will be having our appreciation hunt on Saturday June 13th at 1 o'clock. Please meet at Howard Amon Park by the boat docks (where we had our last club hunt). The club will supply the chicken and pop. Please bring salad, fruit, or dessert. Remember to bring chairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The coin show will be in October. The club talked about renting a table at the coin show to tell people about our club. It will be a two day event. It will be voted on later. A motion was made that Frank Griffith, Kim Leverett, Dick Loderhose and Lyle Thomas be given life time memberships in our club. It was approved by all the club members. Thank you Dick, Frank, Kim and Lyle for all the work you have done for the club for so many years. Nancy Thomas found the club treasure. Way to go Nancy. Lyle Thomas won the silver round, Jerry Lynn second. Gene Mace won the 50/50. PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE I want to thank all of you for your support during the hunt. We had a good turnout and a lot of good feedback from all who attended. You all did a great job for the club. We have had a change in our outing for June. We will cancel the Denny's outing on June 13, but will instead have the club appreciation outing on that same day. It will be held at Howard Amon Park by the boat dock area. There is better parking there and we have a lot of hunt prizes left so come and try to get one. We had some members who were not available at the later date we scheduled at our meeting so we moved it up. If you have any questions call me. In case you haven't noticed IT’S HOT! When you plan on going metal detecting, better make sure you have plenty of water, and go early so you don't get too much heat. Take good care of yourself and find the good ones. Have a great month.
