Sept 22nd, 7:00pm (4th Tuesday) - S.W.A.T.H. club meeting at the Mid-Columbia library in Kennewick. JULY MEETING HIGHLIGHTS Meeting was called to order. No new guests. There were no minutes available to read for the month so we had no Secretary's report and The Treasurer's report was given by Lyle Thomas. Joanne gave a update on the Second Sat outing we had last month and it sounded like a great time of fellowship, breakfast and hunting. We will be having another one on the Second Sat of Aug, so meet us at Denny's in Kennewick at 8am for the breakfast or 9am for the hunt. The Combined Hunt with Spokane has been put off until next year. Joanne reported talking to Clay Soliday about it and the Spokane club has decided that the time is too short to do it this year and plans are being made to have flyers ready by the Annual hunt in May to hand out both here and at Spokane's hunt in June of 2010. The Combined hunt will be held in Sept of 2010. Joanne reported the Bi-laws are typed and asked the club if we could take the money out of the club fund to get them printed out. There are 11 pages to the Bi-laws and Joanne said it would take too much paper and ink for her to copy them. The club agreed to pay for the printing of the Bi-Laws. Lyle gave an update on the effort to get the club a non-profit status and said he would have more information on it in the Aug meeting. Diane Olson has buried the club coin and gave out the first clue to the find. Good luck! Frank Griffith found over 800 coins for July and will be awarded a pin for the Finds in One Month category! Congratulations Frank! Joanne finalized the orders for the shirts, caps, and jackets for the club and will be sending out the order this month. PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE Wow! It has sure been HOT and it's hard to get out in this kind of weather but I hope you are all able to do a little hunting and also keeping water and staying cool when you do. Be careful out there! We had a good time at the breakfast so don't forget to come to this one on Sat Aug 8th. I apologize for leaving a little too soon this last month . It seems Jim Wilson came to the restaurant at 9am and we had already gone. Sorry Jim. We will be careful NOT to leave before 9am so anyone who does not want to eat breakfast can still come to the hunt. BIG OOPS!
