Oct 20th, 7:00pm (3rd Tuesday) - S.W.A.T.H. club meeting at the Mid-Columbia library in Kennewick. AUGUST MEETING HIGHLIGHTS The meeting was called to order by Joanne. Minutes were read. Jerry gave the treasurers report. We have two new members to our club. Welcome Red Thoren and Sunny Young as our new members. We talked about plans to have a hunt with the Spokane Club in September or October of 2010. We will be handing out flyers about the fall hunt at our hunt in May hunt. We will discuss more later about this hunt. If you ordered hats, shirts, or sweatshirts please be sure to pay for them this month. Joanne will be collecting the money. Our next outing is Sept. 12th. We will be meeting at Denney's on HWY 395 and Kennewick Avenue for the breakfast and mini hunt. If you choose to join us for breakfast please be there at 8 a.m. If you do not choose to join us for breakfast be in the parking lot at 9 a.m. and we will all go to the mini hunt together. We promise we will not leave until 9 a.m. We want to plan another club outing and picnic in Sept. or October. We need a member to put on this hunt. If you are interested please call Joanne. We started something new at our club. Club members are telling stories about things they have found. Some of the stories are very interesting and some are really funny. Let's keep it up. I WILL not tamper with signs, structural facilities or equipment. I WILL not litter. CLUB TREASURE CLUES The club buried treasure has been found. Steve Churchman found the token buried behind the Pasco Wal-Mart store. Steve will bury the token and have the first clue at the next meeting. Congratulations Steve!
