April 27th, 7:00pm (4th Tuesday) - S.W.A.T.H. club meeting at the Mid-Columbia library in Kennewick. CLUB PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Hi Everyone! I want to thank everyone who stepped up to volunteer to help plant coins and lay the Hunt fields for our 22nd Annual Hunt in May. It just goes to show what I have known all along. We have a good bunch of people in our club and I appreciate each and every one of you. It looks like we will have another good hunt in May. The weather is getting nicer now and its time to get out and swing those detectors. We will be once again starting the "Second Saturday" outings in April. We meet for breakfast and then go hunting in a spot we chose at breakfast. It is a time of getting out with each other and helping each other out as needed. Looking forward to spring! Welcome to all the new members of S.W.A.T.H. We appreciate you and want you to feel welcome and also we are here if you need help with your detectors or with hunting. Whether you are a novice hunter or an experienced ole timer, metal detecting is a fun hobby and is a good way to exercise and be rewarded at the same time. There are a lot of good finds out there! I hope you all have a good month and remember the meeting is late this month so be sure and make a note of that. I will be glad when income taxes are over and we can get back to our schedule of every 3rd Tuesday. Until then, dig the deep ones... but be sure to bury those holes. Take care, Joanne FEBRUARY MEETING HIGHLIGHTS President Joanne Thomas called the meeting to order and secretary read the minutes and treasurer, Nancy Thomas gave her report! The treasure is buried in the city of merchants at a location although small shares its name with a river far away. 2. The location's first name is the same as one of the twelve, and has little to offer for children to play but rise early in the day to find the treasure for it would be in the shade where it can watch the game being played. 3. “The post or pole" is buried around them. 4. East a tree, west a post, north a place to save your soul, you are standing on what you seek most. 2010 HUNTER OF THE YEAR POINTS Dan Autrey 11 Dick Loderhose 11 Helen Lynn 9 Frank Griffith 8 Lyle Thomas 6 Bill Baker 4 FEBRUARY FINDS OF THE MONTH COINS Dick Loderhose 1920 Penny 1st Helen Lynn 1946 Penny 2nd Dan Autrey 1939 Nickel 2nd Lyle Thomas 2001 Quarter Frank Griffith 1944 Penny Bill Baker 1979 Dime FOREIGN COIN Helen Lynn 1996 Canada $2 1st Dick Loderhose 1996 Korean 2nd Dan Autrey 1997 Singapore Dollar Frank Griffith .10 New Zealand WILD CARD Dick Loderhose religious Medallion 1st Frank Griffith Charm Bracelet 2nd Dan Autrey Manager Pin Lyle Thomas Pendant Helen Lynn Canadian 1 cent Bill Baker Key GOLD JEWELRY SILVER JEWELRY Dan Autrey Ring 1st COSTUME JEWELRY Dan Autrey Lady bug watch 1st Lyle Thomas Ring 1st Helen Lynn Bracelet 2nd Dick Loderhose Bracelet w/pink stone Frank Griffith Earring Bill Baker Star Earring MISC Frank Griffith Hot Wheels tank 1st Helen Lynn Cowboys Key 2nd Dan Autrey Toy Truck Lyle Thomas Pencil Dick Loderhose Car Bill Baker Seattle Token CODE OF ETHICS I WILL respect private property and will not treasure hunt without owner's permission.
