Aug 18th, 7:00pm (3rd Wednesday) - S.W.A.T.H. club meeting at the Mid-Columbia library in Kennewick. JUNE MEETING HIGHLIGHTS The meeting was called to order by Joann. Helen is taking minutes and doing the news letter this month for Diane. The outing was wonderful. We had a coin hunt and a great potluck after the hunt. For those of you who missed and/or did not know of it, you missed a great time! Everyone that hunted found a prize token! It was the longest appreciation hunt we have ever had. Everyone stayed and talked to each other long after the potluck was done. We will be putting on another hunt and potluck the last of September. We are inviting the coin club to join us for our potluck. We will be meeting at Denny's Hwy 395 in Kennewick on July 10th for breakfast at 8 am. and a hunt afterward. While eating breakfast we will decide on were to hunt. If you do not want to eat breakfast meet us in the parking lot a 9 am. We will not leave the parking lot until 9 am. Mark you calendar Dec. 4th at 6 o'clock will be our Christmas party at the Kennewick library. Jerry Lynn volunteered to print the By-Laws. They will be ready by next meeting to hand out. CLUB TREASURE CLUES Congratulations to Frank Griffith who found the club coin in John Day Park in Kennewick. Frank will receive $20 at the next meeting and will supply us with a new clue as to where the coin is buried. CODE OF ETHICS I WILL respect private property and will not treasure hunt without owner's permission. I WILL fill all excavations. I WILL appreciate and protect our heritage of natural resources, wildlife, and private property. I WILL use thoughtfulness, consideration and courtesy at all times. I WILL build fires in designated or safe places only. I WILL leave gates as found. I WILL not destroy property, buildings or what is left of ghost towns and deserted structures. I WILL not tamper with signs, structural facilities or equipment. I WILL not litter.
